PSI Architecture & Engineering is responsible for the design of a new 47,000-sf cold storage facility for El Rey USA Meats, a food distribution corporation based in Chicago, IL. The construction documents were recently completed, and the owner is actively seeking a general contractor.
This impressive project will be located in Georgia’s Gwinnett County and is expected to become a vital hub for El Rey business in the Southeastern United States. In terms of aesthetics, the exterior façade will feature a combination of materials, including insulated metal panels, brick veneer, composite metal panels, resinous wood panels, and aluminum storefront entry and glazing systems.
The architectural design of this new cold storage facility will showcase a thoughtful blend of functionality and aesthetics. The insulated metal panels will serve as a modern exterior material and help regulate the temperature inside the facility, ensuring optimal conditions for storing and shipping perishable goods.
