Henry County E911/EMA Facility and Support Buildings

PSI Architecture & Engineering was awarded the contract for the design services and construction administration of the new Henry County E911/EMA Facility and Support Buildings project in McDonough, Georgia.

With the master plan for the entire public safety complex now complete, PSI Architecture & Engineering is currently programming and providing preliminary design for the new E911/EMA building, as well as additional structures such as a classroom building for the Fire Department, warehouse building for EMA, and various pavilions, guard stations, and the comprehensive site design. Once the programming and preliminary design is completed, the next step will be to progress into full design documents for all the buildings, structures, and site.

The various Henry County departments and organizations involved in this project include SPLOST/Capital Projects, E911 Dispatch, the Emergency Management Agency, the Police Department, Homeland Security, the Fire Department, and the Board of Commissioners. Under the guidance of Henry County, our team will proceed with the development of all necessary permit documents for the facilities over the next 10 to 12 months and will oversee the construction contract in the coming years.

Completion

Design will be complete by October 2024. Construction will be complete by October 2026.
